Magnificent Places
in China

1. Zhangye Danxia, China

These colorful rock formations are located in Zhangye Danxia, in Gansu Province, China. They are the result of sediment deposition layers of different colors for 24 million years between two tectonic plates, with the help of erosion created these colorful landscapes. I suspect photographers of abusing some saturation when they take these pictures, but even by imagining the dullest these landscapes are magical.
